ARE YOU A WAYFINDER?
Wayfinding is one of the most fundamental skills ever invented by mankind. Without wayfinding there would be no intentional way of arriving at your desired destination, you would simply be left to the will of the wind, the current, and the tides. Accidental achievement would be the best you could hope for, and a more realistic expectation would be constant and aimless drift.

The definition of Wayfinding is: "the process or activity of ascertaining one's position and planning and following a route". Neither of those activities is as simple as it seems. It takes a skilled Wayfinder and some dependable tools to actually navigate to an intentional destination.

What is a Wayfinder then? In its most basic sense of the word it is "one who finds a way." A Wayfinder is a person with the self-awareness and determination to persevere through all manners of weather and obstacles until they achieve their goals. A Wayfinder is not simply a path follower, but a person who opens up new ways; an innovator, a trailblazer.

Who is Ryan Haynes?
I am a positive and energetic problem solver. Throughout my career I have been building teams, navigating obstacles, and creating systems to improve team health and productivity. Wherever there is a team there is inevitably conflict. Because each person is wired uniquely, there is guaranteed to be times when one person's Strengths collide with another's.
For years this both fascinated and frustrated me, until I discovered the CliftonStrengths assessment. Using this tool I was able to map not only my own Strengths, but also those of my wife, my family, and my teammates. Discovering the potency and predictability of Strengths helped me better understand my own default approach to problems and appreciate the differences of those around me.
Inspired by this newfound knowledge I departed from my career in the non-profit arena and began my training to become a certified CliftonStrengths Coach full time. My personal top 10 Strengths are perfectly calibrated to help you and your team untangle years of frustrations and chart a new course based on decades of research and data from Gallup (the brains behind the CliftonStrengths assessment).
